- Lists and checklists. Start a line with
-, 1. or [] and a space, and Return keeps the list going. Tap a box to tick it.
- Math. Type
= after a sum and Jot adds the answer. It converts units too: 2 cups in ml =. Turn it on in Settings.
- Add to Reminders and Add to Calendar. Send a note from the Attach menu or a jot’s long-press menu. A date in it, like “Friday at 7pm”, becomes the due date or the event’s time. Turn them on in Settings.
- A font for each category, in Edit Category.
- Jot Review. Before you export, Apple Intelligence can point out private info, reminders and unfinished notes, all on your device, and Jot spots duplicates. It’s off until you turn it on in Settings, and it needs an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence.
- Backups can go to a folder you pick, like one in iCloud Drive or On My iPhone.
- The Recent Jots widget can leave out hidden or mention-only jots.
- Obsidian: the Jot Import plugin can now file a category into a note you choose.
- Designed for Duo: Jot fills both screens and keeps your note when you fold or unfold.
